What To Do After a Motor Vehicle Accident:

1. Stay calm and wait for the police to arrive.
Preserve the scene, avoid moving vehicles unless necessary, and ensure everyone’s safety.

2. Document the scene.
Take clear photos of the vehicles and surroundings. If possible, speak to witnesses and collect their contact information. Exchange driver’s license, insurance, and phone number with the other party.

3. Report the accident.
If there are no injuries and the damage is under $2,000 CAD, you must self-report the incident at a local Collision Reporting Centre.

4. Arrange for vehicle repairs.
Use a trusted towing service to bring your vehicle to a repair shop for inspection and an estimate.

5. Visit Well Care Rehab Clinic.
Bring your ID, insurance policy, and police report to your appointment. Our healthcare professionals will assess your condition and begin your treatment, while assisting you with all required documentation.

6. Coordinate with your insurance provider.
